The city of Milwaukee is looking to put in a new public plaza central to an up-and-coming mixed-use district. The plaza will be used by primarily by patrons of the nearby shops, guests at the adjacent hotel, and folks who work in the adjacent office complexes. In this assignment, we took direction from musical accompaniment while creating the space. This design in inspired in part by John Coltrane’s Chronic Blues.
